Sometimes love is not about being perfect. It is about seeing each other in our most complicated moments and choosing to stay, even when things are not easy.

Through layered textures, fragmented faces, and contrasting colors, We Stay Anyway explores the complexity of emotional attachment, vulnerability, and the parts of ourselves we reveal and conceal in relationships.

This painting holds a part of my own story, my emotions, and the things I am still learning to understand. It is a reflection on the tension between connection and distance, imperfection and acceptance and the quiet decision to remain, even when love is difficult.
