Soft Collapse

Soft Collapse is the second work in the “Emotional Horizons” series.

Following “City Never Sleeps,” this piece captures a moment of quiet breakdown, a shift from constant motion into emotional and urban collapse. The distant city dissolves into warm, heavy textures, where structure begins to blur and lose its clarity.

The palette evokes associations with smoke, dust, and the weight of contemporary life, reflecting the fragile state of many cities today. It is not a dramatic destruction, but a soft, almost silent collapse.

Created with charcoal, fluid textures, and subtle collage elements on paper, the work balances between control and release, inviting the viewer into a space of reflection and stillness.
